ABOUT ALEX

Alex Bodishbaugh King is an Artist and Creative Director based in Northwest Arkansas. Her work is heavily influenced by the unique grit and stick-to-it-ness of middle America. She aims to capture the beauty and humor in everyday moments and objects.

After 10 years in marketing and e-commerce, Alex decided to pursue art full time in 2021. Her background in graphic design appears in many of her bold, typography focused paintings and prints. Her art often features mantras that explore intuition and confidence in oneself such as 'trust your gut'.

In addition to Artist, Alex has extensive experience as a Curator and Creative Director. Her concepts and campaigns are immersive, intriguing and unexpected. From an art gallery in an abandoned mall to a luxury jewelry store pop up shop, Alex's creative endeavors are all anchored by the desire to connect her community with art and artists.
